Chaitra Bandiwadekar, a biotechnology postgraduate from India, currently serves as a Science Editor at JoVE, where she combines her research expertise with a passion for science communication. She earned her master’s degree from Symbiosis International University, where her dissertation focused on the modification and functional evaluation of biopolymers. Subsequently, at Tata Memorial Centre, her research in cancer biology centered on critical areas including the chemoradioresistance mechanisms in cervical cancer and the development of combination drug strategies for the treatment of glioblastoma. Her scholarly output includes peer-reviewed articles in well-regarded journals and presentations at national symposia. Outside of science, she enjoys reading and art. chaitra.bandiwadekar@jove.com
