Dr. Bui Hoang Phuc is a lecturer in medical biotechnology at Van Lang University in Vietnam. He earned his PhD in Environmental and Preventive Medicine from Oita University in Japan, following an MSc from the University of Tsukuba and a BSc from the University of Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City. His research focuses on molecular microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, and microbial genomics. He has extensive experience in high-throughput sequencing, comparative genomics, and host-pathogen interactions. Dr. Phuc has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in international journals and is an active member of the American Society for Microbiology.
